Dec. 19--PRINEVILLE, Ore. -- Brooks Resources officials presented conceptual development plans at a meeting in Prineville Saturday morning, laying out ideas for transforming an 1,106-acre parcel north of downtown into a mixed-use community.
Brooks Resources Corp., the Bend-based development company behind neighborhoods such as Awbrey Butte and Northwest Crossing, bought the property known as the Hudspeth Ranch in June, said Kirk Schueler, the president of Brooks Resources. Most of the land is within the Prineville city limits and the urban growth boundary.
