Fed: Dawn Fraser in hot water over "boys club"comments

Outspoken swimmer DAWN FRASER has come under fire after branding the Sport Australian
Hall of Fame board "an incompetent boys' club" that does nothing for its members.

The triple Olympian resigned as president from the Melbourne-based organisation last week.

She's cited frustrations at senior management which she claims has failed to achieve
anything for its members, including a long talked about memorabilia museum.

SAHF chief executive officer MORTON BROWNE says members are surprised and disappointed
by FRASER's announcement.

He says the organisation languished in its early days but is now moving ahead as a
listed company under a board that includes two other women.

He says he has no idea what FRASER means by her "boys' club" remark, adding that they
just don't have the $20 million required for a memorabilia museum.
