Qld: State of play in Qld parliament
Labor has its one seat parliamentary majority on the line in tomorrow's byelections
in the outer Brisbane seats of Woodridge and Bundamba.
The split in the 89-seat Queensland parliament is:
- ALP 43
- National Party 23
- Liberal Party 9
- Country Party of Qld (ex-One Nation) 1
- Independents (including nine ex-One Nation) 11
- Vacant 2
* Labor retained Bundamba at the June 1998 state election with a 6.2 per cent buffer,
and Woodridge with a 13.52 per cent margin.
