TROLLEY TO TOUR CEMETERIES.(CAPITAL REGION)

STILLWATER -- Stillwater's Celebrate 2000 Committee will offer a Cemetery Trolley Tour from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30. Cost for adults is $5, with children ages 5 through 12 $3. Any children younger than 5 will be admitted free.

Town and village Historian Linda Sanders indicated the trolley will unload at several area cemeteries including the Presbyterian, First Baptist, Union, St. Peter's and Ketchum's. Among the notable graves to be visited include one of Stillwater's early settlers, Ezra Buell; early minister Lemuel Powers, father of first lady Abigail Powers Fillmore; the family plot of the famous patriot George Palmer; and sites of former town and village …
